Delay of Spring Weather
Oh, sunlight, you're kind of deceptive;
a wind from the north we detect.
Of spring warmth we would be perceptive;
the chill is not what we expect.
To complain isn't pretty or winsome;
the good is the light on grass green.
So, we'll try to be pleasant, not sin some.
enjoy all the good that is seen.
The scarves, so in style, also cozy,
fit right in to accent the day.
And breeze that makes our cheeks rosy,
is an obscure feature of May.
Gratitude, the attitude tweaking,
before long, a smile will just beam.
Set aside our complaints, vainly creaking,
and live, 'til emerges spring's dream.
