Applaud or Edit

I laugh at myself over audit and edit;
A course of study I could pursue.
Although I consider waiving the credit,
I don't think attempting to edit would do.

So, if I choose, am accepted, and do,
take part in this study as audit,
I'd be more accepted as i see it through,
if I should learn, not amend, but applaud it.
