Happy Years

I did the title first, a real faux pas,
but I am celebrating those Happy years with you,
the day we joined in love and adhered to law,
and promised to be loyal, affectionate and true.

Well, you have surely met the hopes and plan,
affection and inspiration, done your part.
I am happy that you are the man
I chose the share my life and give my heart.

So, on this day called anniversary,
I send my thanks with hug and kiss or two,
celebrating these years, dear to me,
that I am privileged to share with you.
